This conference is in honour of Frano Barbir (Croatia), Inci Eroglu (Turkey), Richard Cogdell (UK), and Wolfgang Lubitz (Germany) and dedicated to the memory of Juan Carlos Bolcich (Argentina). It will provide a forum for students, postdoctoral fellows, and scientists from different countries to deepen their knowledge and understanding, broaden their professional contacts, create new opportunities, and establish new collaborations. The scientific program will encompass the breadth and depth of photosynthesis and hydrogen energy systems, ranging from fundamental research aspects to practical applications.

The conference features plenary sessions, poster sessions, and two series of parallel oral sessions, one focused on photosynthesis issues and the other on hydrogen issues.
Selected papers will be published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.
